The first day is pretty crazy. They head to the park at the end of the block. Walking three small dogs is a challenge. The leashes get tangled. The dogs want to stop at different spots.

 

At the park, Cupcake runs all over. Night loves playing in the mud and chasing the bigger dogs. Maurice, Gaby’s poodle, is older. He’s content to just sit and watch the action.

 

Rounding up the dogs to leave is an even bigger struggle. Night runs in the opposite direction. Maurice flops down and won’t budge.

 

Suddenly, Oliver exclaims, “Where’s Cupcake? I don’t see her!”
